The Standridge Bio
Jaime Standridge is a passionate and strategic basketball coach with over 20 years of combined playing and coaching experience across youth, high school, and collegiate levels. An Indiana native, she returns to Florida—where she played collegiate basketball—after most recently coaching in Massachusetts, where she also served as a college recruiting coordinator and active member of the Massachusetts Basketball Coaches Association and LeadHERShip Basketball Coaching Development Programs. Known for building competitive, high-character teams, Jaime emphasizes fundamentals, mental toughness, and leadership on and off the court. Her player-first philosophy and adaptive coaching style have helped turn around underperforming programs and guide countless athletes to the next level. Now at Daytona Beach Christian University, she leads the women’s basketball program with a focus on holistic development, faith through the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and a “We Over Me” mindset. Based out of Saint Johns, FL, Jaime has five high school aged + children. In her spare time, she enjoys golfing and traveling for her children’s sports with her husband Brad, competing in triathlons, and spending time with their Golden Retriever, Tucker.

We are confident that Jaime’s dedication and vision will strengthen our community and inspire our students to grow in faith and skill. Athletic Director Andros Desir expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “Jaime’s leadership and experience make her the perfect fit to lead our women’s basketball program into a new era of success.” University President Erika Ernst added, “Her commitment to holistic development echoes the truth that ‘all things work together for good to them that love God’ (Romans 8:28), and we are blessed to have her guiding our young women with purpose and grace.”

The DBCU Way
Coach Standridge
My basketball philosophy:
"Our primary focus is on building a relentless, high-energy DBCU women’s basketball
program that consistently outworks opponents on both ends of the floor. Grounded in
fundamentals, team cohesion, and a "We Over Me" mentality, we are cultivating a culture
where discipline, toughness, and unity translate into winning results. At the heart of our
program is a commitment to holistic player development—mentally, physically, and
spiritually—instilling purpose and passion into every possession and preparing our
student-athletes for success both on and off the court"
Program Overview:
The goals of the DBCU women’s basketball program center around building a
